434 : Duchesse de Bourgogne

Duchesse de Bourgogne - another offering from the folks at the Verhaeghe Brewery - Brouwerij Verhaeghe - Vichte - is described as a Flemish red-brown ale of mixed fermentation that after an initial fermentation and a bit of time lagering, is further aged in oak barrels. Very Nice. Brewing Duchesse de Bourgogne is a somewhat involved process as it combines both barley and wheat malts, and select hops that produces a sweeter ale, with more subtle bitterness. If you can find it - try it.
